Ashley Jewelers, originally Ashley Elizabeth Jewelers, was established in 1990 by owner Jim Paon who was a diamond setter by trade but had other aspirations in mind.  Trained by some of the best jewelry craftsmen in the business at the L.G. Balfour Company in Attleboro Massachusetts in the early 1980’s, Jim learned at the outset of his career the value and importance of pride in workman-ship.  Quality is paramount!

Jim discovered that there was plenty of opportunity to bring this philosophy into the fashion and bridal jewelry industry as a retailer of fine jewelry with the ability to do custom work, repairs, and of course, diamond setting on site. So, he created Ashley Elizabeth Jewelers named after his first born daughter.  It also became apparent that his ability to connect with people on a personal level built a trusting customer base that continues to expand with each passing year.
