Shipping Instructions
Sending your jewelry items to Ashley Jewelers has never been easier! Even if you have never shipped anything before we'll walk you through a few very simple steps and you'll have your package ready for shipping. For your convenience you can print out this Shipping Instructions Form by clicking here.
- Fill out the Service Order Form found on the various service pages; i.e. Jewelry Repair, Custom Designs, Appraisals, etc.
- Be sure to fill in form completely including an accurate description of the items you are sending, service to be performed, a declared value (if you know its value). The form allows you to separately fill in information about each item you are sending. Just check the box that says “I have a second item that I would like serviced”. Any special instructions can be filled in the Other Comments box. Note that there are required fields indicated by a red star.
- If you need us to send shipping materials to you such as a box, packing, labels, etc. please check the box indicating that request. Within a few days you will receive everything you need to safely and securely ship your items to us. Also, let us know if you would like a ring sizing gauge or an eye loupe so you can better inspect your jewelry before sending it to us.
- Package your jewelry items (separately if possible) into small Ziploc style bags or use coin envelops and place it in shipping box.
- Use packing materials such as bubble wrap or newspaper to prevent shifting during shipping.
- Affix prepared shipping labels to box that will be presented to you when you click the form. The "ship to" address in the center and the "shipped from" in the upper left corner just as you would with addressing a letter.
- After cutting the shipping labels out, please be sure you include the section titled "Packing Slip" inside the package. Keep the Customer Copy for your own records. The Customer Copy is the ONLY hard copy and proof for yourself that you have items with us. We do not store personal customer information online for our forms.
- Depending on the courier you use will determine how to have your package actually shipped. If you are using the U.S. Postal Service you can drop it at your nearest post office. Some areas offer a package pick up service.
